Your coordinator will be informing you about the time and dosage for your medicines.
First we synchronize your menstrual cycle with the donor’s cycle using special hormonal medication. Next comes the stimulation, during which you are supposed to take medicines and go through ultrasounds checks.
A doctor at ISIDA will analyze the tests data and will, if needed, correct doses of medications.
It is better to have a professional help for the injections. But if you decide to do them yourself or with the help of your partner, please remember and follow these basic rules:
Please store the medications as instructed in the package leaflet. Store medicine in a cool dark place, for example, in the refrigerator door. But do not freeze it! Some medicine may lose their qualities after being unfrozen.
Please follow the prescriptions very carefully. Make notes on the time, kind of injections and doses you took.
Please double-check which injection you have to take — subcutaneous or intramuscular. Please contact your coordinator if you have any doubts.
